2022 11 11 – MERG Meeting
At the next meeting of the MERG Croydon Area Group, members will start planning animations for the Dockland layout and beginners will learn more about the basics of electronic layout control.
Test Board 3 – 26th October
Test Board 3 now has a DCC control system for train movement and a layout control bus is being tested.
Left Bank – 12th October
Track is being laid out on the left bank of base boards, prior to being fixed down with a nail gun.
Iterative Design – 12th October
New bases have been 3D printed with reinforcing pillars to give better support to the track bed.
Making it Work – 5th October
The new electronic control system is undergoing testing prior to being installed in the Avon Sidings layout.
