The sparkies knew that the mimic panel needed reconfiguring and they couldn’t put it off any longer. It didn’t go smoothly as it looked as though the first module needed some repair. In the end six of the points were set up very quickly but the double slip prooved to be much more of a challenge.

Currently the frog switching is done by Peco microswitches connected to the tie bar. Tis configuration is causing problems and the sparkies intend to remove these and put sevo crossing switches in their place.

The double slip seems OK for now but watch this space …..
