The previous 3D printed parts, on Test Board Four, have been replaced due to assumptions made during the creation of the track bases. The assumption was that the Peco radius spacing on the curves would be equidistant – they are not!
So the old bases were removed and the new 3D parts laid out on the board. The main point of the exercise ws to establish how many parts need to be printed before next week.
Meanwhile the work on Test Board Three was completed. All the track and wiring are now in place, with the wiring running under the track to sockets at the edge of the board.
The point movements will need to be adjusted, but afted thast it whould be possible to start running some trains and experiments with various control systems.
